Project Coordinator - Arizona Department of Environmental Quality

  • Lead a variety of projects in the General Services Department including Facilities, Construction, Event Planning, and Continuous Improvement. Actively hands on with projects to ensure that project is completed on time and within budget. Collaborated across departments and agencies to complete high level projects to improve processes in interdepartmental and interagency functions. All completed using Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies. Acting manager in manager absence and was fully trained in all areas of the department including Front Desk, Fleet Desk, Mail, Receiving, and Event Set up.

    · Develop and streamline project management process from scratch including consultation, presentations, reports, schedule, tracking metrics, filing system, punch list, final walkthrough, and all other related documents and forms. All using Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Creative Cloud and Trello.

    · Conducted organization process development project to centralize ADEQ fleet of 76 vehicles and create the Fleet Admin role to manage and maintain the fleet that was currently in poor condition, out of compliance, and mishandled. Upon completion of the project the result was a single POC with an efficient process of vehicle reservation, documentation, maintenance, proper utilization and management, and compliance.

    · Remodeled all 22 ADEQ conference rooms by purchasing ergonomic furniture, removed/repurposed existing furniture, standardized usage, and set occupancy levels. This project was approved by ELT with a budget of $100,000 to be completed in 3 months by the end of the fiscal year. The byproduct of this project was repurposing the remaining furniture, particularly the chairs producing a cost savings of over $43,000 in new chair purchases.

Performed move projects and conduct space planning for Amazon corporate and operational sites. Ran reports in Smartsheet to retrieve headcount data and create floorspace reports. Establish relationship with key stakeholders and internal partners and have extensive knowledge of different teams. Conduct Extensive research for data correction for space planning metrics and space planning. Advocate/ implement Process improvement to enhance efficiency, customer response, data clean up Conduct a variety of audits for onboarding, seating assignments, and monthly data consolidation and create updated floorplans in Bluebeam.

  • Lead the Workplace Manager Manual project to consolidate all current process documentation, create new and streamlined SOP and templates, and consolidated all documents into a new single location for all Workplace Managers to conduct work out of.

  • Lead the training initiative for new hires in Workplace Manager duties after complete implementation of the WPM Manual.

I executed projects to install the LittleBird smart community system by coordinating with the channel partner to allocate resources as needed. I ensured that Property Management and IT were in constant communication throughout the project. Additionally, I conducted personalized training for clients on product and software usage. To keep track of the project's progress, I updated all roadmaps and charters in Monday.com. I collaborated with the internal PMO, IT, and Engineering teams to engage in continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing efficiency in purchasing, customer service, internal processes, and LittleBird software.

  • Being a small startup company, LittleBird did not have an official RMA process. After discussing the current state with key stakeholders and gathering feedback, I built out the RMA system. I created a dashboard to process returns, set up automations, wrote an instruction manual, and trained staff on the new process. After implementation, we were able to successfully process several overdue returns.
